"As a reminder, be sure to have your chimney cleaned and inspected at least once every year, as that is the best way to prevent a chimney fire. As an all volunteer department, we rely heavily on our mutual aid departments, especially during the day when staffing can be a concern. Luckily no one was hurt and damage was contained to a small area around the wood stove."
