A Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the at the Middlefield Town Green starting at 8 a.m. Monday.
The event is organized by the Middlefield/Rockfall VFW Post 10362. Local dignataries will speak and a wreath will be laid in front of the Middlefield Volunteer Fire Company firehouse.
Following the ceremony wreaths will be laid at Middlefield Cemetery and North Burial Ground Cemetery. Participants in the ceremony will march in the Durham Memorial Day Parade.
