Obituary: Karen Swiridowsky, 69, Of Middlefield

MIDDLEFIELD, CT - Karen (Reid) Swiridowsky, 69, of Middlefield, beloved wife of Louis Swiridowsky, passed away at her home with her husband at her side on Saturday December 9, 2017. She was born in Saint Johnsbury, VT, daughter of the late Arnold B. Reid, Sr. and Velma (Randall) Reid. Prior to her retirement, Karen worked with NAPA Auto parts for forty two years. Karen always looked forward to attending car shows with her husband.

She is survived by her son, Mark Swiridowsky and his wife Beverly of Middletown, daughter in law, Colleen Swiridowsky of Middletown, Step daughter, Denise Widgren and her husband Ronald of California, brother, Arnold B. Reid, Jr. of Durham, sister, Geneva “Jenny" Adkins of Portland, and four grandchildren, Brenden Swiridowsky, Jorden Swiridowsky, Elissa and Hannah Widgren, also several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 14th at 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown. Friends may call prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
