Obituary: Robert E. Sisk, 47

He was the former owner of Crystalwood Stables in Durham.

Robert E. Sisk, 47, of Meriden, passed away Nov. 30, 2018 after a long illness. Born Jan. 25, 1971 in New Haven, he attended Cheshire High School and had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for several area construction companies. He also was the former owner of Crystalwood Stables in Durham.

He is survived by his beloved sons, David A. Sisk, Dustin R. Sisk and Dalton E. Sisk, all of Durham, his mother Patricia Burns Sisk of Wallingford, a sister Jennifer Sisk of West Hartford, a brother David (Michelle) Sisk of Salisbury, NH, nieces Madison and Maryn and nephews Zack, Aaron, Gabe and Weston and his former wife Jennifer. He was predeceased by his father Robert E. Sisk.

Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Tuesday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of MT Carmel Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th floor, New York, NY, 10004.
