Wednesday, May 16, 2018, Thomas J. Starzec, longtime resident of Guilford passed away peacefully at CT Hospice, Branford. Beloved husband of Linda (Battapaglia) Starzec.
Tom was born September 11, 1944, in New Britain, CT, son of Thomas and Lucy (Ducki) Starzec. He is survived by his daughter, Michele Starzec and her son, James “Jamie” Ducharme, of Colchester, CT; and his daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Matthew Elwell and their son, Lee, of Greenwich, NJ.

He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Starzec of Cromwell, and survived by a sister, Joyce Faraci of Middletown. Tom honorably served his country in the US Army. He was the owner and operator of Durham Office Equipment. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, May 22, at 10 am in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford. Burial will be held privately.
