Police Investigate Break-in at Dari Serv

State police are investigating an overnight burglary at Dari Serv in Durham.

Police responded to the popular ice cream shop at 13 Main Street around 1 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, where they discovered that forced entry had been made through a window to the business, according to a police report.

No other details were provided, including whether or not anything was taken from the business.

Dari Serv was burglarized on at least two occasions last summer and has been broken into in previous years.

Owner Bob Pavlick told Patch earlier this spring that security cameras had been installed at the ice cream shop to prevent further break-ins.

It's unknown if the cameras captured the recent burglary.
