Popular, Long-Time Market In Durham Listed For Sale

The long-time owner says now is the time to sell.

DURHAM, CT — After 25 years of running Lino's Market, Owner Lino Aparo is planning to sell in order to spend more time with his family, the Record Journal reports. In an interview with the RJ, Aparo said the property is for sale for $1.7 million, which also includes three adjacent single-family homes.

You can buy the market only, if you choose for $649,000 and it was fully renovated recently. Aparo said he wants a new buyer to keep the market as is and he stressed that the market will not be closed.

The market is located at 472 Main Street. According to its Facebook page, Lino's "specialize in Italian imports, full scale deli, fresh cut meats, seafood, cheeses & catering for all your party needs. Fresh bread delivered daily from Arthur Ave. New York, Mozzicato's di Pasquale bakery Hartford & Albert's bakery. Daily lunch and dinner specials and Lino's-to-go prepared meals. Freshly made cannolis daily and pastries. Cooked muffins every morning and breakfast sandwiches. And the list could go on........"
