Rachel Footit has been elected Connecticut FFA President for 2013-2014. A graduate of John Lyman Elementary and Strong schools in District 13, Rachel has graduated from Lyman Hall High School in the Vocational Agriculture program. She was awarded the Star Chapter Farmer degree in May, and received gold proficiency awards in diversified livestock and entrepreneurship. At the Spring competition of career development events CDE) on April 26th, Rachel placed 1st in dairy cattle selection and evaluation.
