Riding Horses, Owning Farm Unites Middlefield Mom and Daughter

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter lookalike photo.

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

In Middlefield, Kelly Sommers said, "My mom (Debbie Sommers) and I with our horses at a mounted shooting event a few years ago. There wasn’t a single day I could go without someone thinking I was my mom or asking if we are sisters. We did everything together and owned Grace Meadow Farm in Middlefield for 12 years. Last year we sold the farm, and my mom moved to New York. I now own my own farm in Meriden but miss our riding days together!"
