Road Reopened In Durham

Heavy winds knocked down a tree and wires Thursday morning, which led to the temporary closure.

DURHAM, CT — Arbutus Street in Durham has been reopened, after a downed tree and wires forced it's temporary closure, according to First Selectman Laura Francis.

The road was reopened by about noon. Members of the town's Public Works Department and a crew from Eversource were quickly called on-site and got the debris cleared away.
