MIDDLEFIELD, CT — The repair work on the Route 147 bridge over Lyman Meadow Brook in Middlefield has been largely completed, and the road reportedly was reopened Tuesday evening.
The road had been closed for a little over a week, writes the Meriden Record-Journal.
State Department of Transportation officials said the repairs are ahead of schedule; they had expected the road closure would remain in place through July 28.
