The Week Ahead: Road Closures, Assistant Principal Search, Powder Ridge Job Fair

Road Work

Pent Road will be closed Monday from 7 a.m. until noon for chip sealing. Keep your eyes open for detours.

On Tuesday, the Durham Public Works Department will begin its summer chip sealing work, starting with the four corners at Haddam Quarter Road and Foot Hills Road. The work is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. Click here for additional road work details.

Assistant Principal Search

The Region 13 Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the administrative offices. The agenda includes interviews for the position of Assistant Principal at Coginchaug High School, as well as appointment of the position. Stay tuned to Patch for details.

Powder Ridge Job Fair

The folks at Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort are gearing up for a busy winter, so this weekend they're holding a job fair where interested candidates can learn about and apply for a wide assortment of year-round and seasonal positions. The job fair will be held at the ski area at 99 Powder Hill Road, Middlefield, from 10-4 p.m. on Saturday, August 10.

Art Bra Tickets
