TOWN OF MIDDLEFIELD INVITATION TO BID
DIESEL, GASOLINE, HEATING OIL
2021-2023 FISCAL YEARS

The Town of Middlefield will accept sealed bids until Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 11 :00 A.M. at the Office of the First Selectman, 393 Jackson Hill Road, Middlefield, Connecticut, 06455-0179, at which time and place said bids will be opened and read aloud for any, or all of the following petroleum products, to meet the requirements of the Town for all buildings and departments for the fiscal years July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023..

GASOLINE: Unleaded (89 Octane)
Annual use-approximately 3,000 gallons

DIESEL FUEL: Low sulfur content diesel (.00015%) maximum with lubricant
Additive included. Annual use-approximately 7,000 gallons.

HEATING OIL: #2 Standard Heating Oil
Annual use-approximately 6,000 gallons

Proposals shall be quoted in cents per gallon above New Haven harbor low. The Town of Middlefield reserves the right to waive any informality in any such proposals, to reject any or all bids and to accept the proposal(s) that in its sole judgment is in the best interests of the Town.. Bidders need not bid on all fuel types..
