Town Transit Bus Fares Resume With New Mobile Option
Tickets and passes are once again available at local Stop & Shop stores and online at www.9towntransit.com.
Press release from Estuary Transit District: After a long pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 9 Town Transit buses will resume collection of fares on November 1st. The agency used the time to install barriers in all vehicles to allow the safe collection of fares.
Tickets and passes are once again available at local Stop & Shop stores and online at www.9towntransit.com. In addition, a mobile ticketing option has been added to provide a contactless way to pay.
With mobile ticketing though the Token Transit app, customers can purchase one trip, multi-trip or timed passes. The app also offers exclusive one day and five day passes that allow unlimited trips.
