Wadsworth Falls in Middlefield Closed to Swimmers Tuesday
Swimmers will have to look elsewhere.
MIDDLEFIELD, CT—The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced there would be no swimming at Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middlefield Tuesday.
The park's swimming area was closed due to high bacteria levels, according to DEEP.
Other parks that are closed to swimmers Tuesday include Silver Sands in Milford, Kettletown in Southbury, Indian Wells in Shelton and Wharton Brook in Wallingford.
