Work Expected to Begin in 2017 on Expanded Durham Water Line
A contractor for the project is scheduled to be chosen by the end of this year.

DURHAM, CT — Work is expected to begin in 2017 on an expanded Durham Water Line, according to the federal Environmental Protection Agency.
The EPA updated the project in a newsletter posted on the town's website, which states that a contractor is scheduled to be selected before the end of 2016.
According to the federal agency, the project is part of the Durham Meadows Superfund site cleanup, which is needed because former manufacturing facilities at the site contaminated portions of the groundwater in the area.
