PORTLAND, CT — The body of a man who jumped from Founder's Bridge in Hartford last month was found in Portland on Monday, The Middletown Press reported. Two kayakers on the Connecticut River found the 23-year-old man's body along the riverbank.

Police began the search April 16 when witnesses said a man jumped from Founder's Bridge into the Connecticut River. The man's body was found roughly 10 miles downstream from the bridge, according to The Middletown Press.
