The Democrats also selected Jeffery Carlson, Karen Terry and Steven Kelly for the open slots on the Board of Education on November’s ballot.
The 18-year-old Kelly is one of the youngest candidates to run for office in town.
The Democrats plan to endorse the announced slate at their party caucus on July 18.
The Republican and Chatham parties have not yet announced their candidates for November.Â
