EAST HAMPTON, CT — While running on a 90-day interim budget, East Hampton officials discussed options for a potential third referendum on the general government budget this week, the Middletown Press reported.
According to the Middletown Press, town officials have tried twice to win approval for the $15.1 million general government budget, but have been unsuccessful. The town finance board discussed options that could lead to a third proposed budget Monday and agreed to take up the issue again on Wednesday.
