East Hampton Man Charged With Sexual Assault

An East Hampton man charged with sexual assault was released on bond.

EAST HAMPTON, CT - An East Hampton man was released on bond after he was charged with sexual assault in connection with a 2017 incident, according to The Middletown Press. James Harris, 20, of 2 Terp Road was charged with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint.

He was initially held on $150,000 bond until he was arraigned at Middletown Superior Court, when he was released on $10,000 bond, The Middletown Press reported.
