East Hampton Man Charged for Violent Southington Bar Incident
Two men are facing charges for a December incident at a Southington bar, police said.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Two men have been charged in connection with a violent incident at a Southington bar four months ago, police said.
Marcin Szwedo, 29, of Hamden and Kieda Mariusz, 34, of East Hampton, surrendered on April 20 after learning that warrants had been issued for their arrests, police said.
Police said the warrants stemmed from an disturbance that occurred at the Hollywood Bar and Lounge in
last December. Kieda and Szwedo allegedly entered an employees only area of the business and were asked to return to the areas that open to the public, according to the warrants.
