East Hampton Man Robs Subway At Gunpoint: Report

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Daniel William Doherty, 19, of Comstock Trail is accused of committing an armed robbery at the East High Street Subway eatery Monday evening, the Middletown Press reports.

Doherty is accused of displaying a handgun during the robbery, the Press reports. Police took the accused into custody as he was attempting to flee in a vehicle, police said. Bond was set at $250,000.
