East Hampton Police Hosting Drug Take-Back
Drop off your expired pharmaceuticals no questions asked on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Do you have old, unused medications in need of safe disposal?
On Saturday, Oct. 26, the East Hampton Police Department and Local Prevention Committee are participating with the Drug Enforcement Agency in a nationwide Take-Back Initiative. The event provides area residents an opportunity to safely surrender pharmaceutical substances and other medications to law enforcement officials for safe disposal and destruction.
The drop off medications can be made anonymously with no questions asked.

The last Take-Back Initiative was successful, with over 60 pounds of medication turned in for destruction, police said.
The drop off location will be in the upper parking lot of the East Hampton Town Hall, 20 East High Street, East Hampton, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. If there are any questions about the event, please contact the East Hampton Police Department at (860)267-9544.
