Endangered Animals, Fire Department Fundraisers and a Boat Parade!

This week in East Hampton and Portland enjoy a talk by a New England author, help the fire department raise funds for their fireworks and enjoy a boat parade at Sears Park!

“Tracking Endangered Species in New England” Author at the Portland Library:  The Author of this profile the rare and threatened species living in our area, Todd McLeish, will be presenting at 6:30 p.m. at the Portland Library.

“Fill the Boot” for East Hampton Fire Department Fireworks:  The fire department will be holding a “Fill the Boot” campaign to help raise funds for their Aug. 17 fireworks outside Stop and Shop from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8.
