Hazardous Waste Collection Day is This Saturday, Oct. 5
If you have old fluids or chemicals you want to dispose of, this is where you can do it. It's open to all Durham and Middlefield residents.

There will be a hazardous waste collection day happening this Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Middletown.

* Dry material must be in closed containers such as plastic bags and labeled.Â
* Do not mix materials.Â
* All materials must be labeled. *Tighten all lids on containers.Â
* Pack containers in sturdy boxes.Â
* Transport material in automobile trunk, rear of station wagon, or truckÂ
Directions to Middlesex Community College (large parking area): From Route 9 north and south Take Exit 11 Turn right off exit ramp, Go straight at light onto Bartholomew Road, Take 1st right onto Reservoir Road. Take 1st right onto Training Hill Road No fee to participate.Â
