Man Charged In Fatal Portland Crash
A Hartford man was charged in connection with a head-on wreck that killed a Portland woman.
PORTLAND, CT — A man is facing charges in connection with a fatal crash last November, The Middletown Press reported. Adam Lopez, 41, of Harbison Avenue in Hartford, was charged with second-degree manslaughter and several motor vehicle offenses.
The wreck occurred Nov. 5 on Route 17 near the intersection with Apple Tree Lane and resulted in the death of Traci Carey, 51, of Main Street in Portland.
Carey's car was struck head-on by a car that crossed the double-yellow line multiple times, according to The Middletown Press.

Lopez was held on $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 25.
