CHAPLIN, CT — A Chaplin man was killed after his vehicle crashed into a tree on Chenwink Road Wednesday evening, according to State Police.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to a rest in the middle of the roadway. Operator Rodney Abelin, 53, was killed in the crash.
Police continue to investigate.
