Man Seriously Injured In Portland Garage Fire
A man suffered serious burns in a fire last week.
PORTLAND, CT — An Eagle Street garage fire left a man with serious injuries and is under investigation, The Connecticut Post reported. The man was flown by medical evacuation helicopter to Bridgeport Hospital for serious burns following the fire at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
No other victims were reported. The garage was heavily involved with flames when firefighters arrived and has been noted as a total loss. The blaze did not spread to any other structures as firefighters quickly brought it under control, according to The Connecticut Post.
