IT’S WEIRD, BUT IT WORKS!
Need a quick confidence boost? Just strike a pose like Wonder Woman!
Life hacks are little ways to make our lives easier. These low-budget tips and tricks can help you organize and de-clutter space, prolong and preserve your products, or teach you something that you simply did not know before. Learn some ideas, and if you wish, share some of your own. Please register for this program.

Bring a lunch if you like. Dessert and beverages will be served. Registration requested.
Flash Read
Wednesday August 12, 2015 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Join us for Portland Library’s first ever FLASH
READ event! Based on the concept of FLASH MOBS, which involve groups of people meeting at a preselected location and breaking out in spontaneous dance or song, we will be meeting on the Town Green for some spontaneous reading. Since most Flash Mobs are invitation only, consider this your invite. Let’s see how many readers we can get at one time in one place! Bring a book or an eBook and something to sit on and join us on the Town Green off of Waverly Avenue for this fun event. All ages are welcome; an ice cream social courtesy of the Friends of the Portland Library will immediately follow the event. In case of inclement weather, the ‘mob’ will move into the Portland Library. Registration is Required.
All programs were made possible by the generous support of the Friends of Portland Library!
