Portland Library Hosting Free Adult Comic Stress Relief Program

The free program, aimed at adult reading, features comic mime artist Robert Rivest.

Are you stressed and looking for some laughter?

Join the Portland Library’s “Groundbreaking Reads” program on July 15 for an evening with comic mime artist Robert Rivest, whose program of humor and performing arts hopes to bring health and laughter to Portland residents.

Rivest is a comic mime artist, a talented health, literacy and stress relief educator, a gifted laughter yoga teacher and an engaging public speaker, according to the library’s event listing.

 “Ground breaking Stress Relief: Comic Mime & Laughter Wellness for Adults” will take place in the Mary Flood Room of the Portland Library, 20 Freestone Ave., at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15.
