Portland Selects New Schools Superintendent

PORTLAND, CT — Portland has selected an administrator to become the new superintendent of schools, The Middletown Press reported. Charles Britton, current director of curriculum and instruction, was unanimously approved to become superintendent at a Board of Education meeting Tuesday night.

Britton has been an educator for the last 25 years and will take over at the end of the school year, according to The Middletown Press.
