PORTLAND, CT — Portland will have a partial recount after close races on the Board of Selectmen and Board of Education.
Democrat Benjamin Srb held a 19 point lead over Republican challenger Timothy Lavoy while Republican David Murphy bested fellow Republican Angela Hammond by only seven votes, according to the Middletown Press.
Town officials are working together to determine when recounts will take place.
