Southington Man Charged With Sexual Assault In East Hampton

A Southington man has been charged with child-related offenses in East Hampton

SOUTHINGTON/EAST HAMPTON, CT — A 65-year-old Southington resident who is already facing a first-degree sexual assault charge in Southington is now facing that same charge plus a first-degree child porn possession charge out of East Hampton, judicial system records show.

David Boulanger was arrested by East Hampton police on Feb. 15, records show.

For a first-degree possession of child pornography charge, he posted a $100,000 bond and is due in court on March 26, records show.

He also posted a $250,ooo bond with the same court date on charges of first-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact, records show.

Records show the incidents were at an East Hampton campground in June.

Boulanger was already out on $150,000 bail for an October sexual assault case out of Southington, records show.

According to a police report, on Oct. 11, Boulanger was charged in Southington with two counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of fourth-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury/impairing the morals of a child.

The warrant alleges that Boulanger sexually assaulted a minor in 2015 and 2016. The victim was known to Boulanger, according to case records. The details of the warrant were sealed by the court. He is due back in court on March 19 in the Southington case.
