EAST HAVEN, CT — The Town Council has given its blessing in East Haven to selling of the former high school building for $500,000 and a developer will construct 70-units of mixed-income, age-restricted apartments.
But it didn't do so without a lot of people - the mayor, the council, and the public getting its say about the plan.

He said, in part: "The quality of life benefits of the project are clear and substantial. This proposal will transform our center of town, improve property values, and provide a safe, nurturing, and permanent home to a number of civic and community groups."
