Apple Festival at the Ellington Farmers' Market
Enjoy LuAnn's Apple Crisp and shop for tree ripened apples, cider, jams, butters, chutney, and baked goods. Live music, 40 vendors, fun!
It's all about apples Saturday Sept. 30th at the Ellington Farmers' Market from 9-12. They will be serving up LuAnn's Apple Crisp topped with whipped cream and having an apple cider pressing demonstration all morning. You can purchase CT made apple cider by the glass or half gallon. Vendors will be selling apple products including apple pie jam (yum!) apple chutney, apple butter, apple sauce, apple baked goods and of course a wide variety of tree ripened apples from Irish Bend and Draighi Orchards. Jeannie Murphy, CT female Country Music performer of the year, will be providing the musical entertainment. Come on down and enjoy the morning with neighbors, friends and family in the quaint country setting of Arbor Park. It's early fall in New England at it's best!
