Artists at the Market
It looks like Mother Nature is going to shine upon us again this Saturday to provide an idyllic setting in our own Arbor Park as we celebrate Artists at the Market. Pour yourself a steaming cup of Luann's delicious coffee hot or iced, pick up a sticky bun and visit displays of pencil, oils, charcoal, ink, acrylics, photography, jewelry, and wood art as you talk with our guest artists about their creations. After browsing the art take the time to relax under the trees and enjoy the music by Kat Kennedy.
Music this Week
Kat Kennedy began performing around her home state of Connecticut at the age of 7. Since then she has performed at venues across the country, sparking a love of music and performance that led her to Berklee College of Music in Boston. It was there that she found her current singer/songwriter, pop folk style. She currently performs around the Boston area, playing her original music and cover songs by artists such as Johnny Cash, Bill Withers, and Vance Joy, along with many others.

HOW? Present your EBT card at the Market Booth where you can request any dollar amount to be debited from your card. That amount will be given to you in the form of SNAP coins redeemable at the Ellington Farmers Market only. The market will match the amount of snap coins up to $20 per week. We deduct $20 from you EBT and give you $40 in SNAP coins to spend. This program will last until the $2000 budget is depleted.
