Birds Of Prey Program At Ellington Farmers' Market

The Ellington Farmers' Market is hosting a Bird Festival featuring a presentation on birds of prey by the Horizon Wings Rapture Rehabilitation and Education Center Saturday Oct. 12th at 10:00 in Arbor Park. The presentation features a bald eagle, golden eagle, owls and other birds of prey. Learn what features all raptors have in common and their individual stories as well as the characteristics and behaviors of each species. Ellington Agway will be on hand with information on backyard bird feeding this winter. Learn about the wide variety of bird food available and what to use to attract various birds.
