Blueberry Festival

We are almost halfway through our outdoor market season, and fresh produce is at its peak of goodness as we celebrate one of New England's favorite joys of summer...the blueberry. Fresh and delicious and loaded with antioxidant power, we will have a variety of yummy blueberry-laden treasures from which to choose and even a booth on using blueberries as a beauty treatment! You'll want to come early to enjoy blueberry shortcake and shop for special blueberry concoctions at our vendor booths.

Back by Popular Demand Dr. Uke and the Glastonbury Ukulele Band

Bring a chair and sit under the trees to enjoy this popular group, led by Dr. Jim Rosokoff (AKA "Dr. Uke"), a retired Glastonbury dermatologist. You can sing along to typical ukulele fare like “You Are My Sunshine” and “Five Foot Two” and other songs less readily associated with the ukulele, such as “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes,” “Why Do Fools Fall In Love,” and “Who Put the Bomp (in the Bomp-Ba-Bomp-Ba-Bomp).” Many genres of music are "on the table" for the band, including jazz, folk, rock, Elvis, Beatles, show tunes, and even Yiddish songs.
