Chef Demonstration at Ellington Farmers Market
Chopped Chef Chris Avgtes will demonstate spring cooking techniques and recipes at the final winter Ellington Farmers Market March 17th
"Chopped" Chef Chris Avtges will present "Cooking for Spring" during the final winter market on Saturday March 17th at 2:30 at the YMCA, 11 Pinney St. The demonstration will feature cooking with local foods and focus on lightening up your cooking for spring time. The event is free and open to all. The final winter market will take place from 2-4 pm and host 25 vendors bringing fresh produce, seafood, meats, dairy, baked goods, jams, relishes, pickles, specialty foods, ready to eat meals, natural cleaning products, body products and artisan wares. Special sales on a variety of products will be offered in order to "stock up" for the 7 week break until the outdoor summer market begins on May 12th in Arbor Park
