Cow Chip Bingo to be held at Oakridge Dairy

Ellington Farmers Market and Oakridge Dairy will be hosting Cow Chip Bingo on Thursday July 19th at 6:00 pm at the dairy on 33 Jobs Hill Road in Ellington to benefit the markets matching SNAP program and the two Ellington food banks. Attendance at the event is free and tickets for the bingo portion of the evening are available at the market each Saturday morning, LuAnn’s Bakery and Ellington Agway for $10.00. Prizes are $1500 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place and $500 for 3rd place. You do not have to be present to win. Live cows will be roaming the Bingo Board looking to “deposit” their chips. If you hold the lucky number where one the first three fresh “cow chips” lands, you’ll be a winner. The country band Steel N’ Easy will be providing the musical entertainment and there will be free activities for the kids plus food trucks in attendance for dinner and snacks. This is guaranteed to be a fun filled country event for the entire family.
