Cow Chip Bingo To Benefit Food Banks And Matching SNAP
Win $1500, $1000 or $500 if the cow drops its "chip" on your number. Enjoy a great evening of small town family fun, food, games, laughter.
Ellington Farmers Market and Oakridge Dairy will be hosting Cow Chip Bingo on Thursday August 8th at 6:00 pm at the dairy on 33 Jobs Hill Road in Ellington to benefit the markets matching SNAP program, Crystal Lake Food Bank and the Ellington Human Services Food Bank. Attendance at the event is free. Tickets for the bingo portion of the evening are available online and at the market Saturday mornings in Arbor Park, LuAnn’s Bakery and Ellington Agway for $10.00. Prizes are $1500 for 1st place, $1000 for 2nd place and $500 for 3rd place. You do not have to be present to win. Live cows will be roaming the Bingo Board looking to “deposit” their chips. If you hold the lucky number where one the first three fresh “cow chips” lands, you’ll be a winner. The country band Steel N’ Easy will be providing the musical entertainment and there will be free activities for the kids plus food trucks in attendance for dinner and snacks. This is guaranteed to be a fun filled country event for the entire family.
