Somers Road Closed, Power Off for Hours After Crash

The accident was reported on Route 83 on Wednesday afternoon.

According to town officials, passage on the roadway and power to the surrounding area is not expected to be restored until approximately midnight.

A two-vehicle crash closed a portion of Route 83 in Somers.

According to the Department of Transportation, the road was closed between Bradley Road and Kibbe Grove Road.

The accident was reported at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday.
