CT State Police Kids Identification Day at the Ellington Farmers Market
Create or update your child's identification kit. Keep on hand for emergencies! Free and open to all 9-12 in the big gazebo.

The CT State Police will be on hand in the big gazebo in Arbor Park, during the Ellington Farmers' Market on Saturday August 26th 9-12 to help prepare emergency identification kits for parents to have on hand in case of an emergency. These kits include child description, photo ID, fingerprint ID, and DNA identification. The service is free and open to the public. Having your child’s information readily available for police officials will eliminate the need for many questions and save valuable time in an emergency. The market hosts 40 vendors bringing locally grown and produced products. Produce is at its peak and includes peaches, tomatoes, corn and a huge variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables. Seafood, beef, pork, chicken and lamb are also available along with baked goods, specialty foods and artisan wares. The Kids Power of Produce runs through Sept. 2nd and live musical entertainment is provided weekly. A complete schedule of events, vendors and musical entertainment can be found on the market website where you can also sign up for the weekly newsletter.
