Ellington Farmers' Market to be Held at Firehouse Saturday

Thanks go out to the Ellington Fire Department for hosting the Ellington Farmers' Market this Saturday at 6 Nutmeg Drive.

The newly acquired firehouse at 6 Nutmeg Dr. will be the location of the Ellington Farmers’ Market on Saturday, Jan. 23 from 2-4 PM.

Ellington residents approved the purchase of the property, formerly Skips Septic Services, at a town referendum this fall.

Due to a previous commitment, the YMCA was unable to host the Jan. 23 market and the fire department has stepped in to host this week’s market. The fire department is pleased to give residents the opportunity to visit the newly acquired property.

The remainder of the winter markets, concluding on March 19, will return to the YMCA at 11 Pinney St.
