Ellington Farmers Market to Celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day

The Ellington Farmers’ is celebrating National Random Acts of Kindness Day with giveaways and specials though out the market on Saturday February 17th from 2-4 at the YMCA, 11 Pinney St. The market host 25 vendors bringing a wide variety of farm products including produce, beef, lamb, pork, chicken, dairy, honey, eggs, maple syrup, jams, pickles, salsa, relishes and cheese. It also includes bake goods, specialty foods, bath, body and home products and artisan wares. In the spirit of the event customers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to Ellington and Crystal Lake food banks. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Ellington Youth Services will be on hand to showcase their “Decide to be Kind” program.
