Ellington Farmers Market Celebrates National Farmers Market Week
Produce is peaking and the market is bursting with locally raised and produced food items, bath and body products and artisan wares.

Produce is peaking at the Ellington Farmers' Market just in time for National Farmers Market Week. You'll find everything from exotic veggies like pea shoots and bitter melon to local favorites like tree ripened peaches, homegrown tomatoes, cantaloupe, cucumbers and loads in between too numerous to list. The market is hosting 35 vendors on Saturday mornings 9-12 in the quaint shaded setting of Arbor Park, Main St. Meats, seafood, baked goods including gluten free, ready made foods, dairy, eggs, cheese, jams, pickles, salsas, bath and body products and artisan wares are just some of the products available.
You can enjoy live music while you shop the safe outdoor environment. Vendors are spaced in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines and all vendors and patrons are required to wear masks. Unlike big groceries, products from your farmers market go through just a few hands—the farmers and yours—before reaching your plate. Ellington Farmers' Market is a great place to shop for food for your whole family. Using proper storage techniques, you can stock up the bounty of the season; contact individual vendors for bulk orders.
The market matches SNAP up to $20 per EBT card each week and is also matching Senior and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers. Go to the market booth to obtain additional coupons to shop the market.
