Ellington Farmers' Market Continues To Match SNAP Benefits
Helping low income families obtain healthy foods is part of the Ellington Farmers Market mission made possible by community support.

The Ellington Farmers’ Market continues to help low income families obtain healthy foods by boosting their purchasing power at the market each Saturday May 8th through October 30th from 9-12 in Arbor Park.
The market matches up to $20 per week in SNAP benefits per EBT card. Up to $20 can be deducted from the card balance and $40 in tokens will be given to shop the market. Transactions take place at the main market booth. The program is possible due to the generous support of local businesses and individuals through the Market Partner program.
The market will also continue to match Senior and WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program vouchers for both low income seniors and women receiving WIC benefits. The vouchers are distributed late June or early July.
