Local farmers, specialty food gurus, bakers, makers and creators have been as busy as Santa and his elves to prepare a festive and goodie-filled Holiday Extravaganza Market at the Ellington Farmers Market this Saturday December 7, from 2-4 at the Indian Valley Family YMCA, 11 Pinney ST. You'll find three rooms with vendors offering everything from nuts to eggnog, handcrafted jewelry to stenciled enamel ware and loads in between. Ellington Farmers' Market is a non-profit corporation dedicated to ensuring healthy food security for low income families and building a vibrant community. SNAP EBT cards are accepted and shopping dollars are doubled up to $20 per week per EBT card. Stop by the market booth to take advantage of this program.
