Ellington Farmers Market Host Bugs and Bee Day

Enjoy a hands on experience with exoctic bugs, reptiles, amphibians and a living bee hive. 40 vendors, live music, local and fresh galore!

Bugs and Bees will be the theme of the Ellington Farmers' Market on Saturday July 7th from 9-12 in Arbor Park, Main ST., Ellington. Enjoy the marvels of a living bee hive provided by beekeeper David Pease, who will be on hand to answer questions on bee keeping and offer samples of local raw honey. Dr. Bugman will present a hands-on learning experience like no other using a variety of exotic bugs, reptiles, and amphibians. Produce is coming in abundance as the summer season progresses. 40 vendors will be bringing a wide variety of locally grown and raised farm products along with baked goods specialty foods and artisan wares. Red No. 5,a female acapella group will be providing the musical entertainment. The entire family is sure to enjoy this free event.
