Strawberry Festival- Kids Power of Produce Kickoff-Saturday 9-12 at Ellington Farmers Market
New England's favorite ruby reds are ripe and delicious this week...join us for our annual Strawberry Festival this Saturday at the market in Arbor Park. Fresh strawberry shortcake made with Scantic Valley Farm berries, Luann's luscious biscuits and whipped cream will be available while supplies last. Come early!! Have it for breakfast or brunch or an early lunch! You can also pick up a quart of fresh strawberries, strawberry jam made with locally grown strawberries, a strawberry pie or other delicious strawberry baked goods. Kids Power of Produce Club begins this week empowering children to make healthy food choices. Don't forget your reusable bags to carry all your goodies in!
